This is what happens when I'm left unsupervised with a chunk of metal and a bead roller... "The Flying H" :) My bead rollers throat was not deep enough to reach the center, so I had to cut it in half thru the center of the H and weld it back together.
http://ratrodsrule.com/forum/attachm...1&d=1652227443 Tires showed up yesterday so I had them mounted - the guys at Kal Tire couldn't understand why I would put the white letters in... it's hard to get old school tires like this in the sizes I wanted so the BFG Radial TA's are an easy way to go, just can't get blackwalls. http://ratrodsrule.com/forum/attachm...2&d=1652227443http://ratrodsrule.com/forum/attachm...3&d=1652227443 Thinking I might do the brass thing on the Flying H too....[S:rolleyes:http://ratrodsrule.com/forum/attachm...4&d=1652227443 |
Love the flying H![cl[cl[cl
I did the same thing with my new tires. To get the sizes I wanted, they came in white letters. If it had been a mid 50’s I’d probably turned them out, but I like black walls better on earlier stuff. |
Love it [cl
