Has anyone used a pellet stove in there shop? I'm using wood now and it is getting to be a pain cutting it, plus the mess it leaves. I have 2 sections, built separately, each a 24x36, one with 10 foot ceilings, the other with 13. I pipe heat into the one section from my wood furnace. A pellet stove could be turned down on low when I leave, the wood stove has to be stocked up once a night.

I think a pellet stove is a great choice. They pump out lots of heat and with the hoppers they kind of take care of themselves. Jim

Wonder how hard they'd be on fuel. I know you have to use a good grade of pellets. A friend has one in a 30x40 garage, stove isn't real big, and it heats it like nothing, but he has it insulated like crazy.
