Been on these mounts for a while...learning as I go. Cab is closer to where I want it. Gonna ride low. Busted this guy the other day.

He is cute, not keep'n him. Appreciate the critter LED low voltage idea Joe. We have lots of skunks too, dang annoying when the smell rolls in at night., kinda like they're out there practicing, get'n the hang of stink'n.

Went to the farm and got the front clip. Got the pilot outside for a look. Cab is still too high. You're right Joe. Gotta lower it some more :)

wait a bit and see how it settles, usually these trucks have a lean to the drivers side called the S10 lean, usually need to take half a coil off the passenger side anyway!

looks really good, coming along great

Good job [cl
I always sit my cabs 1" above the gas tank.
Measured at the back of the cab on the drivers side where it crosses over the tank.
The lower you go the bigger the tranny tunnel has to be.

I've heard of alignment issues with light trucks, due to heavy drivers. One reason for having a heavy truck. :D Not counting the 39, of course.

Appreciate the suggestion Joe, will go with it. Nice truck Iron. Had not considered the impact on the tranny tunnel. Thanks for mentioning it. :)

Got the tape measure out today. Lots of room for the Slant 6. Get'n excited about installing it. Me been like'n them Pilots for 50 years Bob. :D

That CRS is familiar Skull, been doing it myself. :p I do recall your firewall fab work. Very creative.

Bought some 11 guage stock to make better rear mounts. Paid $0.90lb, getting expensive. Appreciate the road map on making cab mounts Joe. Finally got that nasty mess from the old mounts ground off the chassis. What a pain. Would have been more fun to grout my tub. Slow progress, but steady. Jr is teaching me how to weld. With time they will look better.
