Oh my ^^^^...I am a little confused as to why there are no valve cover bolts though[S

it's the newest thing...."trailer rats" undrivable realistic looking ratrods....no need for valve cover bolts, or carbs that will actually work or even a drivers view from a windshield for that matter:D:D:D

i just had to, my sarcasm tank was overflowing...

It drove in to the show, and I was going to ask the guy, but I never caught him by his car.

It possibly looks like he adapted some kind of big nut to the top of the spark plug tubes to sinch the covers down like the English Daimler Hemi but I cant tell for sure.

Any additional info/pics of this engine

I love this dual supercharger setup and would like to do something similar to a flathead I'm building for a dragster. Does anyone have any additional photos or info on this engine. I know it would be a bit overkill running two superchargers, but it looks balanced. I figure I can handle about 10-14lbs of boost and the Hilborn mechanical fuel injection manifold can support a blow-through setup.

Now that's an engine !! [cl Belongs to the guy that own Bendsens adapters for mating odd engines to modern trannys. It one of those Seagrave firetruck V12's, derived from the Pierce-Arrow V12, they purchased the patents and rights to produce them after P-A died out and made them 'till the late 60's with some mods like the dual ignition. They were built to run for days on end and be reliable to stay on site 'till the fire was out. Also one heavy beast, no doubt over 1000 lbs.

Here's it's grandfather in a 37 Pierce-Arrow.
