For about a year, I have been looking at these brackets the previous owner put under a shelf in the garage wondering what it is for. Just light gauge square tubing with a notch taken out of it on the bottom. I think I figured it out and they works great. And whatever works great, saves time.

Also, after a year, I developed the biggest time saving tool in my shop.
I took and painted a small square bright orange on the corner of my bench and wrote the following beside it. "Space reserved for Vince's coffee or beer". Once you get into the habit of putting the coffe back there each time, you save time like crazy not looking around the shop for it.

I would never have thought of them being for vice grips and most likely took them down not knowing. Good idea.

The only problem I see with that setup is - first in, last out.

If you keep them all organized by type it should not be a problem!

I agree, so far the four rows are enough to do each of the sizes I have.
I expect that the channel is cheap enough a guy could make as many rows as he wants or has space for so each size can be separate.
