Buying a welder on a budget

Outstanding! I'm sure you'll be very happy with it! It'll be good to get your welding back up to speed on it. I'll bet dollars to doughnuts after you're through your 1st roll of fluxcore wire you'll decide to go gas. The Lincoln is a quality piece and you got a pretty good deal. First project; make yourself a welding cart!

Hahahaha... You read my mind! The carts were on sale for $100 & I thought it would be fun to put one together instead.

My plan this year is to spend the remainer of the summer & fall getting back up to speed on my welding & creating the plans for my frame. That way will have the engine, transmission, body braced, odds & ends purchased, & put the hammer down for my build. Will have some nice welds next year.

What size of steel should I be using for my frame? Thinckness?
