Been a while. Took a bit of a break. Had too All i could think about and dream about was car parts n such. Was good to clear my head and refocus. Changed direction on how I was doing the floor and i think I have a good plan for it.
Chopped the entire floor out, even the new pieces i added and started with a fresh slate.
Next will be stripping the frame for final welding.

Frame stripped and welded solid with the big welder at work.
Back home and putting all back together. Gotta fab cab mounts for the frame.
Test fit the cab. And then start putting all the rest on. Running brake lines, mounting master cylinder, compressor and tank, rad, and shocks. List of things is getting smaller and smaller!

Heres a pic just before I pulled it apart

Shes alive!

Fired the motor for the first time.
Wow is all I can say, she sounds snotty.
Will Post the vid when I can, although the video sound does no justice to it.

Wow long time no post.
Not alot to report. Car is sitting on all 4 wheels on its own suspension. Pretty Cold winter here didnt get a chance to get much done.
I replaced the front tires and wire wheels(just couldn't trust them) with need wheel vintiques steelies and Micky Thompson Sportsman S/Rs. I took the steelies and blasted them and patina-ed them using copper sulfate, vinegar, hydrogen Peroxide and salt. Took a couple tries to get the look I was after, but when I was done I had some pretty cool looking wheels that fit the look of the car.
Next its on to getting the cab done, Needs glass all around, a floor, wiring cleaned up, seat mounted, door handles...
Still tons to do.
