Making progress on the wiring, got the dash all wired up and installed, hoping to get it all done tomorrow.

Looking awesome!

Will you be at Radium this year, ZZ?

How did you end up mounting the fenders? Are they mounted to the suspension or did they end up connected to the rest of the body? I have been thinking about that idea and have a few brain waves about how it could work. It's a fun thought exercise.

Radium, maybe - depends on pending knee surgery, it may mess with having fun but it will get priority - when you get the call, you gotta go...
Fenders are mounted to the suspension arms - that's the reason for the trailing arm pivots being right at either end of the running boards, so the ends of the fenders stay lined up to the running boards as they move up and down.

Awesome. How does it work with cycling the suspension?

I noticed that the pivots lined up and was wondering if that was why you did it that way.

Works fine, no interference issues, just unusual to see the body go up and down separately from the fenders....

I love the way this is coming together, Charlie! You have great imagination to be able to build this entire truck around a grill shell.
