Please look away if you don't like shiny engine parts Couldn't resist playing with my Christmas presents and went ahead mocking up the blower. Don't have the blower carbs yet (expensive! ), but you get the idea.... Thinking I may not need a hood ...

Finished up the panhard bar, did a bonehead move and welded it all up with the slip tube in it Had to use the press to get it out and smooth it out so it slides right again - gonna put a zerk fitting on it too. At this point I've worked myself out of a job. Waiting on parts, some I don't want to order and have them come while I'm in Arizona. Plus I need the body here so I can move ahead. At least it's a roller now

I should have know you are in the mix on that wishbone set up. And yes I plan on using it. I never have liked the pan hard on my '47 Dodge PU.

Gotta love the blown big block look.
Not to mention the "whine" of compressed horsepower being built and hoping the pop of valve is functioning properly if you have the balls to stay it that long.

PS: That high pitched squeal might be the result of that sucking vacuum leak coming from your wallet!!!

That 871 looks massive compared to the 671's I used to run in my jet boat.
And I love it.

Enjoy your winter hide out.

My Visa card gets rubbery and doesn't want to come out of my wallet when I'm looking at more parts
