Yup Dozerland for sure. Picture number 2 to the left of the church there is a brick house that was the where all the Nuns for the Parrish lived, to the left of that across the street is where our house is, it was built in 1952. I'm thinking the time line on the 2nd and 3rd photos is off Doc I'm pretty sure they were much earlier Dollard was settled in 09-10.

Here's the homestead about 8 years ago

The two aerial shots are dated April 15 1952. If that's true, your house was built later that year. :)

Just down the road from Dozerland, this bundle is from the town of Eastend. I spent some time there as a kid and I still have some family in the area.

The streets aren't much better nowadays, that white mud clay is much sought after in the pottery world, there is an active pit NW of East End.

All those people were cruising in classic cars and didn't know it.

Although the scenery is different the photos from that era are from the time I lived on my grandfather's turkey farm. The early years. Thank you for posting this material.

How about Scotty? The largest T-Rex discovered thus far...

Looks like livestock and church draws a crowd.

Unlike the turkey farm, where you'll find one guy in suit! Is this a strange photo, or what? [S

Being a summer turkey farmer kid I find it normal. Man and turkeys dressed in formal black.:D Probably checking the flock for overnight mortality before going to church.
BTW, that's the way we raised them. Out in the field. Moved them to a new field every Monday. Put up fencing, tear down fencing. We raised traditional black turkeys like those shown because white turkeys had not been invented yet.[S

White turkeys were invented by my uncle Jake. :p

Another little bundle of slides and yes, the local Co-Op was often the only general store and fuel distributor in tiny town SK.
