one of our members here has a son thats on leave from the army
yesterday i invited him to go bigbore wheelgun shooting
mike jr (not suprisingly ) fell in love with my .454 casull raging bull
he did really well
on the second time firing it he nailed the 200 yard clanger.
distance shooting is NOT that hard.
he loves that taurus

the 200 yd is a full size coyote silhouette and the 250 is deer .
i have been practicing on the 8 inch round clangers at 300

these are movies

Thanks for taking my son out shooting. Yeah he loved the 454 casull

it was my pleasure
nice guy and a good shot!
i knew he was gonna fall in love with bigbores
the nice thing about the .454 is there isnt much bullet drop so you dont have to compensate
a 300 grain bullet going 1700 fps will buck just about any wind you are likely to encounter. [ddd

oh yeah
he wanted to see the 27 and got all fired up when i told him he is welcome to take it for a spin (weather permitting)
it is easy to be nice
dont cost much either.:D

UPDATE
a couple days ago i took a (not so old) soldier shooting
npmm came along and slung a bit of hot lead while i was testing rounds.
nice guy

npmm
i think the mm must stand for marksman because he nailed the 300 yard 8x14 inch clanger 2 outa 3 on the 1st try[cl

if a guy pours enough money and effort (reloading ammo, technique and plenty of trigger time)
you can get these specialty pistols to do some pretty amazing stuff
