close, but wrong style of cap, that is for a i.d. style and i need a o.d. style.

that is what i was thinking but was hoping for some bolt on stuff. welding it would be easy then i could throw it in a lathe to shape it up. what might be easier is to narrow a set of rims and maybe use the left over parts to widen a set for the rear.

Why narrow the rim? Just use the rim from the spare wheel and the center from your full size. Set your backspacing, true it up, a little welding and you're done...
