It was lower than the truck in my shop now.

I built a lot of cars back then to...had all of these and a few more during HS, I worked at a junkyard after school and weekends so parts weren't an issue. At 16 I inherited 15K and got the Vette and Electraglide., needless to say I had a big time as a teenager.

My first car was technicly my 29 model A. Got it in 8th grade from my uncle. That was in 1986. Nice to have it done finally. My first car to drive in high school was a 74 chevelle. Very nice car, my grandpa bought it new and it was handed down to me in 88. I had the body redone and new paint when I turned 16. Just sold it a few yrs back cuz I never drove it anymore.

'60 Chevy farm pickup for half a year until it blew in grand style then'70 Chevy pickup from the farm. It was the straightest one but Ochre and my brother didn't like the color so I got it. Then I had a 750 Honda I paid little money for and ripped the fairing and bags off of.
Then senior year had my '69 Nova

Winters were rough and I didn't want to take either out so my parents sold me their '80 mercury station wagon. Great parts runner I almost went to college in that thing LOL

Being from Idaho where you could get a licsense at 14.

1st car at age 14, was a 1968 Dodge 100 with a 318 that burned the oil as fast as the gas, paid $200.00 and worked it off at the neighbors farm

2nd car bought in 1988, 1956 Chevy 210, put a 327 out of a vette in, camel back heads, big cam bored over, etc. Munice 4 speed and Ford 9 inch. Total investment $3200.00. Very nice and fast. Sold in 1993 cause I was love struck and dumb. Don't care where the girl is but I wish I still had this car!

3rd, owned at same time as the others not driven much, 1971 Buick Skylark with the aluminum block 350, traded the Dodge for it. I guess I actually still own this one, technically, but I don't know where it is anymore.

4th 1955 GMC with a 400 Pontiac and the big rear window. Paid $1200 for it. Took it apart and then the parents sold the farm. Sold it years later in pieces for $3000

Thats it for high school
