58 Thames I picked up in Jersey last weekend, has a Buick v-6, Mustang 2 front end, 8 in Ford rear. Don’t know what I’m doing yet, I’m a little leery about whether or not the front end is done right, and I don’t know if that unibody will take any kind of torque. The

Tear it apart and see what you've got...

- If it's structurally sound, the unibody should be adequate for the Buick six. If you're inclined to add more power, you'll want to "beef up" as Tripper said.

- There are many ways to screw up a MII front end. All can be corrected with a some grinder/hammer/welder therapy, if necessary.

New project

Yeah I’m gonna build it, just gotta finish the wife’s Willys pickup that’s taking up my garage space. Don’t know if I’ll keep the v-6 in it, I kinda got a soft spot in my head for 215 aluminum v-8’s, and the 4spd will definitely go, gotta have 5 gears ! I have a 2003 Chevy Tracker that I can’t seem to find rod bearings for, it’s 2wd an the chassis looks like it would make a great rod chassis, I’d just have to take a foot or so out of the middle.

There is one of those around here, full tube frame, 500+ Ford big block, street driven and runs I think 6's in the 1/8th!

I remember installing one of those in my bro's 73 Vega station wagon. 3 speeding tickets in one day in the small town we lived in.
