Yeah skip

I can't see the front but yeah that's it pretty much but built a custom suicide front end for it and custom frame step up to lay frame and no fenders or hood

I love that car [dr, I know where there is a 32 the same model and the lazy guy that owns it and a wack of other classics will never don anything with it, but has big plans:mad:

Hey Suicide

My dad had one that his dad had sold brand new....finally burned in a garage fire back in the early 1990's....I have a lot of fond memories sitting in the old car....I will be following along with this one...

The outside

Hudson 1937 terraplane finally got some pics up . It does have a grill and radiator for it but I just took them off to put the motor and trans in . Which is a big block 460 and c6 trans . And yes that's a 33 Plymouth chopped in the back ground that started my love for rat rods . Sorry for the mess but I only have a little area to work so I do with what I have .

You are definitely roughing it but obviously determined and resourceful. [cl[cl Keep the pics coming. I see you are using the latest tech in wood motor mounts :D:D

Nice body style. Going to be a great build.[cl
I like the motor mount as well. Might be a little low for the scrub line though.

Torchie

The motor mount

Yeah guys the wood motor mount was so I can shim and set the motor exactly where I need it and it not move at all cause I have to make custom motor mounts and tranny mount .

Scrub line

And for the scrub line torchie it has a custom step up to lay frame in the back and is gonna have bags so it's made to lay frame on the ground but the motor pan and trans do not hang lower than the frame actually nothing hangs lower than the frame

Motor mount

3/16 plate still have some cutting and fine tuning and also boxing it in to make it stronger and better looking but that's the just of it

Motor mounts tacked up . Hand made with 3/16 plate and a hand grinder still need to work the top plate a little just for visual purposes

Boxing in the frame

Ok so I cut out the cross supports and boxed in my frame with 3/16 plate that I had to cut to fit cause the frame gets taller towards the front and smaller towards the rear . I was not gonna box it in and just leave the stock crossmemeber but I decided to go this route and I'm happy that I did . Now going to make my trans support straight to the inside boxing of the frame and make my own style x member . Before and after pics
