28 dodge bros info needed

i need to find out a few things about a 28 dodge fast four...

1: what is the wheel bolt pattern (how are the old wooden wheels fitted to the hubs)...is it like a modern car with 5 or 6 studs?? because i want to run some decent wheels with wider rubber than 5"..

2: can you buy drop beams for these or is it all custom made to fit stuff?or can i adapt a more modern hub to the axle??[

what i aim to achieve is atleast a 2" drop,wider tyres for better grip and stability,and id like some braking performance cos we have alot of bends in our roads here...[ddd

Might try EZbucket in the vendors section, or Speedway, for new drop axle and hub. Not sure about the NZ Dodge axle/hub, most will take a wire wheel from the 1930's without a problem, but the brakes are another problem, new axle solves all that, but does cost more money "up front" check out some of the other builds on this forum
