I picked up a front end out of a 36 or 37 Ford sedan and was planning on using it on my Model A build. My plan was to just use the original i-beam axle and buy everything else brand new. The axle was setup with the spring in front and I would like to run suicide batwings with a reverse eyed spring. I was also leaning towards buying one of those stamped Model A front cross members that are designed with an inch of drop over stock. I want to keep the front axle under the radiator like it was stock.
Anyway is there any difference in spindles or king pin diameter between the Model A's and the mid to late 30's cars? I'm open to suggestions and opinions.
