I'm about to start to build a frame for the 39 chevy cab. I got the length and the z'd height figured out. wheel base I'l do 120''. now I need some opinions on the frame width. say outside to outside. I,m thinking bout 32 inches.( yea I know thats what she said).
any other advice. thanks

I just did one 33 inches most pickup frame are 34 from the factory . But I'm sure some of the other guys could tell you more this is my first one to build

Mine is 24 inches centered but I ran mine parallel from front to back and the narrowed 9 inch rear was perfect for that measurement. In the front I checked the clearances for the Y block before I took it out of the donor truck. It bit me a little when I started looking for a radiator. Seems to be the only real drawback from frame width issues.
