Great, I would have never noticed that till you brought it up. Maybe I should paint the holes to look like eyes?!?!

Edit: And this is what your friends do when they see it

I love it! [cl[cl

Yeah, it seems as though my pacman is here to stay.

Now on to some serious issues I've been having. The Fat Man Fab radius rods that I bought will not work for my set up. That was a very spendy lesson to learn :(

So now I'm going to be going with my own custom wishbone set up instead. They will be using these rod ends :D

Yes its over kill but its needed since I will be supporting my whole vehicle off my arms.

This is the new wishbone set up modified to run the rod ends. designed it up today and will cut it out later in the week when my table is freed up.

looking good..! your wheel choice doesn't bother me.. reminds me of syndicates ford build.. think he painted his black...

Some people give me grief for my wheels but thats what i wanted to do big 35" out back.. so stick to your guns..
keep at it

Thanks, I appreciate it. However, I might end up running 24" dually rears and matching 22's up front :D That will be down the road after its up and running

Big rims are awesome

I love those big wheels![dr
Going to look wild when done.
I got a set of 20`s for my woodie build but hoping to find even larger ones.
I would run 30`s on back and 26`s on front of my woodie if I could afford them.
My late father loved big rims on hotrods and so do I.[cl

Thanks

Right after I bought these wheels, the company came out with an even better looking type of wheel and they came in 26's and 24's. I thought about it and decided that I'm fine with what I have now. As it is, I'm going to have a crappy turning radius because I got the wrong offset:(

Made the first bend and welded it.

After I did the first frame rail, I just copied it to the second

ok... the truck was already killer when you brought it home, but you are redefining that word at the moment, AWESOME JOB!

Thanks, the engineering process on this truck is truly the greatest challenge for me. Now that I've figured out the front suicide suspension, soon I will be working on the super complex rear suspension. What I have in mind hasn't been done yet.

The key to everything on this build is overkill the hell out of it and keep people in awe.

better pic of the front crossmember

cut out a test piece (16ga) motor mount. Will be making the final motor mounts tomorrow out of 1/4" steel. Still going to use the stock motor plates and bushings. So the passenger side is a little bit smaller than the drivers side

The airbag setup looks really slick, I'm tuned in on this one!

Thanks, this air ride set up has been a massive engineering challenge. I've had to completely rethink how everything will work, all because I wanted a suicide set up. I guess on the plus side to this, this will be one massive overkill ride when all said and done :D

front motor mounts are welded in 1/4" plate

Front frame rails are cut to length and capped. Will finish shaping them once the motor is out so I can also weld everything on the bottom
