oh dont get me wrong it will get driven. I just want to keep it fresh for the build off. comp. we have a 1200 mile road trip for that.

more work, got the holes created by removing the firewall welded up, steering wheel mounts and seatbelt tabs installed. now its outside awaiting a door vacuuming and bye-bye before clear coat. also got rear axle and a handfull of other goodies painted black

Car is all preps to be clear coated inside and out tomorrow morning. Then I realized I only had half a quart of clear left so I decided to start with the inside. we will spray it in the morning. I ordered more, hope it ship monday!!!

There was definitely some footage taken today LOL. Not as much as I would like it's really hard to paint and record at the same time. There is some time lapse and I did get some close-up shots of mixing and some spray time. I was a little worried at first after I got it painted. It looked like dog poop. It didn't look very even and it wasn't as gold as I remember it being. But when I got home the sun was out in the lighting was a hell of a lot better and you could see it was sparkly from the end of my driveway which is a good hundred plus yards away!
