Hey thanks Dutch...... Beverly???? I've been with my wife for 15 yrs
and all this time I didn't know her name was Beverly:rolleyes::rolleyes:
and when did you get a look at her......she still does the same for me[dr[dr

Well Picture, I put halogen lights in my '36 car headlight buckets by just buying the kit and putting it in. I don't remember any grief. There seems to be a problem on mine that I didn't get the bulbs lined up right, with high beam directly over top of low beam, instead of off to the side. I think I was just too reckless in the installing.

Did you find a solution? I have had a similar question for a couple years. How to convert my '38 Ford buckets to modern bulbs. I don't know the width of your Chevy buckets, but I verified today that 67 and later VW (bug, bus, type III, any single 7-inch) headlight holders will bolt into most 8-inch wide buckets with no trimming etc. Halogen upgrades are available everywhere, if sealbeams are not you preference. I thought the VWs were too big, but they are perfect. :D [cl
