just some history on board tracks , these are pics of the Charlotte speedway in 1924 , 2 miles long , high banked , all wood ...... amazing.

-The center bike is tribute Red Wolverton bike, not a board tracker but a record speed holder at 123 mph, circa 1923.. It might be the one with the original engine and other parts. A few have been made, including my 1/4 scale junk art tribute. Note the correct Merkel fork all the racers used back then.

You all have probably seen this one too but I'll share it again. The first one I built, sold it a couple years ago. Junk art tribute to 1920 era board tracker.
