My 33 chevy looks like the windshield mounted from the inside originally. Should I mount it from the inside or make a 1/2" inside-radius lip and mount it from the outside?

Is it a safety issue in modern times to have the windshield mount from the inside? Things were much different back then. 60hp didn't push very hard. :)

Do you have the inside garnish molding? (It squeezes the windshield and gasket in place.)

I don't see a problem if you mount it like it was done originally...

My 33 mounts on the inside of the reveal. I had the glass man urethane it in.
Have them run a bead of urethane around the outside so it looks close to original. The garnish covers the inside so it looks original.

I totally forgot that you have basically the same car as I do, OldIron. :)

Did you need to get any rubber molding around the glass before urethaning it in?
