saved a vice...

saved this once 3 piece vice ,, 'V'd the cracks and fired up the mig, and layered it up .. thought I might have to peen it , however I flipped it from side to side as I went, short welds at a time....

given it a good whack with my 4lb 'angry' hammer and dropped it from a good height ..

seems ok ... woohoo ...

good tool weekend for me.. found a collection of hardware store gift vouchers , so of I went and bought myself a new angle grinder and a circular saw ...

hehhe not me ... one of the boys at work ,, they were going to bin it, id thought id have a go -- always handy if it works -
if not was worth a go ..
