I finally ran my 46 across a scale yesterday. 3550 lbs full of fuel!

He's sure a porky fella! I guess that's why he's so curvy [ddd

Has anyone else ever been surprised by the weight of their rod, either good or bad?

In Texas... one of the requirements to get a bonded title is to have a valid receipt for the car/truck's weight. I had my truck weighed at the local feed store.

That's interesting! There's a truck scale on the highway about 8 miles from me, so I just went over and ran across it for interest sake.

When I built my dragster I bought 8 bathroom scales (on sale) and used two per wheel with a board across. 1780 lbs. No lightweight, that's for sure.
