Got a couple good coats of epoxy primer on the rest of the sheet metal parts today. When it comes to painting parts, it really sinks in just how many pieces it takes to build a car and all the pieces of this batch are ones that I scratch built - and that doesn't even count all the chassis parts yet to do...

I bet your wife thinks you're the greatest when the smell of primer and paint impregnates the house [ddd
Assuming you're married

Great craftsmenship ZZ [cl
We are all going to miss this build thread when you head south for the winter.:(
Torchie.

Well, I've still got a couple months of playing - er - work to do before then..

I guess she's used to it  - plus, if I get the right mix ratio, it has a calming effect... [ddd

Got some color sprayed today on the frame, Hot Rod Flatz Midnight Purple. Kinda hard to get a decent pic in the garage, after the suspension is back on I'll need to get it outside for a better look see.

Some assembly required...
Painted the suspension pieces this pale gold color for a nice contrast to the purple frame, I bought it a couple years ago for the Mini T bucket golf cart but never used it.

zz, You should have a reality TV show. All cool building, and no drama. Frame and runing gear looks top notch.

Trouble is, nobody seems to want to watch real car building without all the drama and BS.... morons getting idiot tattoos and unreal housewives from psychoville is way more interesting it seems....

That is for sure...

Maybe the cure to everyone's fix it that ZZ start a winter project in AZ. Then we'd have two ZZ projects to follow and not feel lost during the winter...:D:D

The wife has already headed that idea off at the pass :(
Besides, I'd need a garage, more tools etc., etc........:)
I'm happy with the winter holiday though, it gives me time to recharge and dream up new projects and ideas, maybe steal a few ideas from the AZ rodders...

Something actually informative and interesting doesn't sell beauty products or Cialis. ;)

If you get the itch to wrench, come on by! I have LOTS of goofy ideas and few skills. LOL

hey zz,really enjoy your builds, if you do get a tv deal the bigger garage and tools
will come .......or so it seems. i'm still not sure it would be worth all the bs
enjoy your AZ time

Got some more assembly done on the frame, with the wheels on it's back to roller status :) Looks better outside in daylight.

You are right ZZ. It looked like a piece of junk inside the garage.
It's almost a shame to cover up a chassis that looks as nice as that one.[dr
