55 Dodge pickup

So I've had this D50 for quite awhile and after blowing the head gasket on the 2.6 I decided a 318 swap was in order but then I decided that my 55 Dodge would be nice on this frame so here it is....will be a slow build
start

original 4 banger

318 installed and running

pulled body off frame

cab set on frame

I plan on shortening the frame a few inches just behind the cab and bobbing the bed and running fairly wide tires....

Looks good, doesn't look like any difference in the earlier and later mitsi chassis, I'm using an 89 model under my project. The cab looks nice and low.

I was surprised how well the body dropped right on the chassis.....only cut one brace

Ok, this is cool. But i cant help but think that motorhome has a 440 that would look good on there too.

defentaily needs the front fenders, those style truck looks awful without them.

Yes full fendered with bobbed bed is the plan.....
The motorhome has a 360 lol....no way I could squeeze a 440 in there unless I relocated the steering box anyways
