So once we found out we where having the twins it was very clear I would need a bigger truck. So like any sane person would do I cut my beloved dodge in half and stretched it into a crew cab.

I got it 11 years ago as a bone stock 1993 w350
It slowly had some mods done like a custom built headache each, wheels and some small power mods.

About 6 years ago it got hit by an intoxicated uninsured motorist. After long battle with my insurance company the wrote me a check to fix it without totaling it out. It was rebuilt with a new bumper, my custom exhaust rack, fresh paint and a few more power mods.

Today she is a truck dodge never built. A 4x4 crew cab 1 ton dually with a 12v 5.9 Cummins. It went through a frame off restoration. New nv4500 5 speed and clutch, new leaf strings, under coated the whole frame after stretching it, a but load more power mods including compound turbos and some fine tuning on a dyno. The body was stripped to bare metal to ensure a top notch paint job that would last for many year of family hauling to come. I also build a rear bumper and custom grille inserts for it. Makes it look more modern.

Any stretch pics? What are the rear doors from?

Does look really great.

Yes I will get some. The doors are from a crew cab. Dodge made them from 75-85. But never with a diesel and never a 1 ton 4x4. They had a 1 ton 2wd and a 4x4 short box.

Here are some pics of the stretch process, and the turbo setup. We had to stretch it 16" but used a 51" section of the original crew cab frame. You can see in the pics that it raised up later than my club cab frame.
Also the whole cab from top to bottom got a layer of sound mat to help keep the road noise down

You can see that in picture 2.

This was no small job.

Thanks for posting.

Thanks man. We had the original cab prepared for removal be fore startimg. It took us 9 hrs with 3 guys to pull the cab cut and stretch the frame put it back together then load it up and head home.

I'm happy wi thbit for the most part. There are a few paint issues to fix, but that will be delt with soon

Bad A$$. Nice work, indeed. Is it two tone gray? One pic is likely picking up some reflection. Almost looks tan on the sides. [cl

Thank you sir! No it is actually dark charcoal metallic gray on the bottom and Brilliant black on the top in a matte finish. Both colors are a factory Dodge color code. So the black looks flat in most lights until you get it in direct sunlight and then you can see the metallic in it. It looks Tan in that one picture because of all the smoke from that British Columbia Fire. Even with the pictures you can't see the metallic in it really
