New Old Guy Here

Old school I'v been wrenching on bikes,cars and trucks for over 45 years.
If it's strange or unique it finds it's way to my yard.
I'm not a fan of shiny paint jobs or chrome. I like my ride tight and usable.
Dents and rust just prove it works for a living.
Here are a few pictures of a project we finished. Pulled the motor , trans and radiator and rebuilt .

Needless to say a lot of people slowed down when they passed the house.
She was built in the early 70's . The tin knocker that built the body was master of his craft..... BUT the drunk monkeys that wired it should be shot.
We pulled a pre smog 455 Buick out.The folks that were driving it didn't check the oil. Welded #5 and 6 hole crank bearings together. Had it rebuilt and upgraded the distributer and carb. I did the math now she is a 472 ci.

Yup street legal all the way. Turn signals , wipers and six air horns plus the bell.
She gets used in parades and fund raisers. The group that owns her is called the "40 and 8". The name dates back to WWI . To get the dough boys to the front by rail. Each car could carry 40 men and 8 horses.
The group supports nurse training and children in need.
I can start a build thread but there ain't no category for it.
Here is some pictures of her on the move. It takes two people to drive because the driver can't see over the boiler on the right side.
