Thanks everyone, we are really happy with the colour as well. A little more progress to report - I started insulating this morning, but don't want to get too carried away until the glass gets installed, supposedly later next week. I got started mocking up the exhaust, trying to get the majority of the "underneath" work done from the top side before the cab goes back on. I've also knocked off a few other small jobs, fixing up the rad cover, prepping the running board brackets, etc. Hopefully my mufflers show up today so I can continue with the exhaust...

Thanks Bob. A little more progress to report. The glass guy wants the cab next week, and I hope to get a couple more bends put in the exhaust pipes tomorrow or Friday. I'm just mocking up the sway bar, had to modify my upper shock mounts just a tad for better clearance, and am just starting rear fender repairs.

Spent a little time on the exhaust this morning. I had some extra bends put into the pipes yesterday, so I welded up the collectors and mounted the mufflers. I still need to pick up some hangers before I set the cab on.

Thanks everyone! A little more progress this morning - my ADD kicked in (lol) and I finally got around to patching up the bad spot on the one rear fender. The other one's in the same shape so it's next, but it will be a day or two. I'm off for a day of followup tests at the hospital tomorrow, at least I have some good stuff to think about with all the waiting. :)

Glass is in, spent the day running the cab to the glass shop and back. I had a few minutes in between to get started on the other rear fender. I tried to beat the weather but it was kinda half rain / half snow on the way home this afternoon.

Cool! What did the glass set you back and did you do the door glass too?
Hi Kenny - I picked up the glass at "Bill's" in Oshawa. $85 per windshield half and rear glass, $60 for the door windows. The rubbers were another $60 and $26. I did pick up the door windows but they are still at the shop getting set in the frames. Rather than use tape, he sets them in urethane so that had to be clamped and held for a while. Those are all C$'s too.

Looks good with glass in it. How are you making your patch panels Bill
HI Dozer - I cheated on those fender patch panels and bought them - "Bills" as well. I think they were $39 each. They were just a bit too curvy for my crude methods of bashing out patches on a wooden block with my fine selection of hammers so I sprung for them. My ears and fingers appreciated it.
 
Still making progress, lots of little stuff getting buttoned up, a lot of it isn't picture worthy but here's a couple. I have all the fenders, rad support, etc painted in rust paint now. I installed the sway bar for the last time as well.

great work Bill! I never thought of taking the cab on a trailer to the glass shop, I always call and try to cajole them into coming to me, which they never do, so I do it myself at great personal pain. [cl[cl[cl

looks like the back window is a rope in, I would use that in a second over the lock strip.

i do that as well, I cant ever seem to get the glass in far enough for the lower screws using tape.
