36 Chevy Sedan Barn Find

I got a text yesterday with a picture of an old car. I text him back and ask where is it and is it for sale? A few minutes later he says that its for sale and tells me where it is. I headed out this morning and picked it up. 36 Chevy Sedan 2 door with the original drivetrain still intact. Not going to start a build thread until I finish 2 other projects. But here it is. I was told that it sat in a barn for 40 years in West TN.

Going to check the wheel base and see what I can use for a swap. Would like it to have a modern drivetrain but keep the full body.

I had a chance at one of those a few months ago but it was a 4 door. It had been outside all these years and was in worse shape. I passed.

Very cool! It looks pretty complete. I love that you plan on keeping the fenders it gives them thier personality.

I like the fenders alot and they will work out easy. The rear fenders will need some patch work.

Got more pictures this afternoon. Looks like the leafs were wrapped with something at some time. The oil level is a little low but its clean. ;D
