Lots of different beam front axles out there with just as many widths. Everything from an anglia to a school bus has used one at some time or another. What are you asking for?

If I bought a I beam that had a 46" dimension between the king pin centerlines, how much extra width would the spindles and hubs add? I'm building my first fenderless car and all of a sudden these things seem to matter. The rear I'm using is a Jag, 61" wide, that will need to be narrowed. The car is a 30 Chevy which is very close to a 32 Ford, except the rear of the body is a little wider.

Okay'''I am running a 4" dropped axle that is 46" to the center of the king pins in my 32 truck build...the distance from where the wheels bolt on to the discs from side to side is 55 3/4" I am using a Lucky 7 axle assembly but most brands would probably be very simular in measurements...I hope this helps
