This was a rough '48 chevy sedan that I picked up from a mate a couple of years ago.
It has taken about 2 weeks work (stretched out over 3 years) to get it as you see it here. Just got inspired again.

I cut the sedan in half, chopped the top 5" and channelled it 8" over a Holden 1 tonne (pickup) frame.

Stretched the doors about 3-4" and converted them to suicide using the hinges from the rear doors, spread further apart.

It's all been built from tin out of the original car (I'm a titewad!) sans the channel sections of the floor and the sides of the tub which are getting folded at my local sheetmetal shop as I type this.

The block shown in the pics is a Holden (GM) 308 but will probably run a 350 sbc as these were an option in the HQ Holden series (what the frame is from) and if I can do it cheap enough the car will get a 4 speed manual trans.

Cheers, Bob.
