Don't give up, it's far too much fun once you can drive it.

Looking great
Isn't it funny that was once considered Grandpa's funky old wagon is now seen in a different light as being cool and a rolling piece of history that with a few tweaks, comes alive once again. Cars of this era had individual style and character that just doesn't exist anymore.

Yeah, I like the years where you can tell the year of the car just by looking at it. One year only styling,

Working on the seat covers since I'm frustrated with the brake lines leaking! 🤬 I think I got it fixed but need help bleeding them.
Put burlap on the springs after ripping off the old rock hard foam and yucky cotton?

Next I glued 2" foam to the burlap and trimmed it close to what I need.

Throw the truck bench seat covers on and done!
They're pretty comfortable too.😁

Finally got the brakes figured out, I think! I haven't test driven it yet.
I needed to increase the pedal travel by about an inch. I thought I could get away with using the threaded rod adapter in the factory brake eyebolt. But I kind of thought it wasn't long enough. I needed to use the kit supplied clevis to increase the length. It needed modification first to fit. The bolt is there temporarily until a little more grinding.

Test drive tomorrow!
