Welded together the brass side trim and brazed it to the body. (Technically, fusing like materials is welding, bonding two dissimilar metals with the silicon bronze wire is brazing ) Also made the front window brass trim. The ends of the trim are brazed to the body and I drilled holes in the sheet metal to plug braze them from the backside. I had no idea if any of this was really going to work, especially having never used the silicon bronze wire in my MIG, but I think it turned out OK
The rear piece was the most challenging, I welded the forked ends on first, then bent it to fit around the corners of the cab.

A little more brass, made this to hold down the roof fabric instead of the fabric hide-em strip for a little more pizzaz

Mounted the air tank, compressors, valves and made a battery box.

Trailer hitch made and mounted....

Welcome to Fender Making 101, also known as making sh** up on the fly...
After settling on a profile with a cardboard pattern, I cut out all the pieces and got to work with the bead roller to give them some character and to look something like a 20's style. I had planned to weld a 3/8 rod to the edge but decided to just roll a lip on it instead, way less welding and potential warpage. Very Basic Model T ish look, no fancy compound curves.
I'll weld all the joints on the backside so I can grind lots off the edges to round them off a bit.
