4 post lift, any recommendations?!

Well I'm finally gettin my shop set up & am ready to get a lift (always wanted one). Anyone have any suggestions?!

I bought what I could afford 6 years ago. I use it constantly and I'd buy another.

I have a Bend Pak 9000lbs. 4post. have no complaints.

Also have a Direct Lift.....works great

I'm like you, Bob, the two posters seem scarey and tipsy. We are getting close to buying one ourselves and I asked this question on another forum. It seems no lift is perfect, some have good access underneath but need a certain frame setup to work, and others are solid and will pick up any kind of car, but the ramps get in the way sometimes.

When I get one I want it to be totally safe because my two Sons will be under there, and there have been some documented cases of cars falling off of lifts or the lifts collapsing.
