Hello guys
Well crowman did check out his international trucks and is terribly disappointed. Both are weathered beyond use. I guess my memories are 20 years old and weather does a wicked number on the old metal. Frames are holely and cab metal papery and the beds are over the ground. But I want a rat rod so onto a new plan. I want to get the frame and suspension going this winter so I would appreciate some ideas of what type of frame I should be looking for at the pick and pull. Somethig that will supporet an old truck body and a V8. The truck will be lowered to 8 inches to accomodate the roads in New Brunswick. All suggestions welcome.
Trip is not a total loss as I picked up two spoked rims in good condition, neat rear bumpers off of of some old car that was back there and a stove top still for a rad overflow container.
A set back but still moving forward.
Crowman

If you want something readily available then, I'd recommend a S10 extended cab frame.
This is the one I'm putting under a 53 Chevy AD
We cut 7" out of it at the factory seam then welded it back together
