I've heard of alignment issues with light trucks, due to heavy drivers. One reason for having a heavy truck. Not counting the 39, of course.

Appreciate the suggestion Joe, will go with it. Nice truck Iron. Had not considered the impact on the tranny tunnel. Thanks for mentioning it.

Got the tape measure out today. Lots of room for the Slant 6. Get'n excited about installing it. Me been like'n them Pilots for 50 years Bob.

don't remember if l mentioned that on my fire wall/trans area l used a wheel barrow to get the clearance l needed, darn the CRS at our age.

That CRS is familiar Skull, been doing it myself. I do recall your firewall fab work. Very creative.

Bought some 11 guage stock to make better rear mounts. Paid $0.90lb, getting expensive. Appreciate the road map on making cab mounts Joe. Finally got that nasty mess from the old mounts ground off the chassis. What a pain. Would have been more fun to grout my tub. Slow progress, but steady. Jr is teaching me how to weld. With time they will look better.
