Default I was here along time ago just found a new project 80 c10 rat

This is my new rat it was rust free 1980 c10 full and complete no issues so I figured it needed a lil rust

I'm not going to criticize because I know you're having fun with it - and I'm not a fan of late model Chevy trucks or exposed IFS. If I was going to rat out something like that, one of the first things I'd do is narrow it by about 18", if not more.

Like that tailgate!

That steering wheel (stick) idea is a no-go. Totally unsafe for you and anybody near you unless you're going parade speed in a parade. You're creative, come up with something better.

I'd like to narrow it but I'm broke I do all my work myself and I've never had any experience in doing it so what's cheep and what I can find at the local junk yards is usually what I'm looking for

Not exactly my style but that's what I like about Rat Rods. Everybody has their own ideas. You are very creative. I like the tailgate. Keep everything safe. I don't think the steering wheel will work but it is creative thinking.
