That's a fine looking Caddy - I'm guessing those are three throttle bodies, not Strombergs?

Pierce Arrow made these V12 engines, sold the patents, tooling etc. to American Lafrance when they folded in 1937ish. They did some upgrades with dual spark plugs, distributors, coils and carburetors for redundancy since a pumper truck could need to run hard for hours on a major fire. They kept this engine in production 'till the late 60's, not a horsepower beast but smooth running and cool to look at....
The Pierce Arrow motor went to Seagrave not ALF.
