I always pick up a hand full at swap meets like Pate and Decatur usually pretty cheap that way. I've recently bought a Eastwood metal saw, cuts pretty good so don't use the abrasive disks as much now.

Can never have enough. I got lucky a couple years ago. Norton Saint Gobain In Worster Mass had a yard sale and I bought A half a pallet of them and piles of other stuff. It was a steal. The cut off wheels worked out to 7/8 of a cent each.

Be VERY aware of "cheap" cutoff wheels. They have a habit of exploding and burying deeply into whatever soft tissue is nearby, including your arms and face.

Look into buying one of these. Fastenal is carrying them. They are kinda loud, and leave a slightly wider kerf than standard abrasive wheel, but they more than make up for it in longevity! Plenty of $$ saved here already...
