Billy,
You're welcome any time but lets wait till I can get It closer to finished before we do the donut thing!!
Getting closer one slow step at a time.

we already know it will spin em on pavement
i bet it'll raise hell in yer dirt yard.
we better wait till yer wife isnt home huh?

Hey Old Iron,
I got it tucked up high enough that you can't see it sitting in the seat.
This set up worked out really well cause I had no room with the starter on the driver side.

Here's a couple more pics.
Thanks Pops, this is the setup I want to use in my 33.
Was it a Kugel unit ?

I had ordered a frame mount combo from speedway but didn't have enough room to use it so I ordered just the 90* bracket from kugel and used speedways master cylinder and booster. A little pricey but it worked out in the end.
Money is no object when you're old, senile and obsessed. So says my bride
of 40 years.

progress

Got my brakes all plumbed up and bled. The 90 degee bracket worked out great. Up out of the way and out of sight. the access isn't too bad either if I have to add fluid.

Next on the endless list is shocks, which should be pretty simple.
Famous last words. I have shocks off my Jeep that I plan on using
since I have them and I need 7" inches of travel.

Looking good POPS! I'm diggin' the Dodge logo you put in the 'factory air' hole [cl Looks like you could fill the MC through there too........is that the plan?

[P[P[P

Thanks Snake Farm. It would really be difficult to fill the master cylinder
If not for the fresh air vent. I love it when a plan comes together and actually works.

Got my front shocks tacked up. Someone tell me something I don't know.
I've seen shocks set up at severe angles. Won't a shock do its intended job
If set more straight up? Like it is inside a front coil spring for example.
Any theories or thoughts?

Its Tight

Who's idea was it to put 3" exhaust pipe under this thing with air bags?
It is tight but I've got it going my way now. Running it out the rear so it won't give me a headache to drive it on the long trips.
Does that make me old? I still like to hear other peoples lake pipes and zoomies so I think I'll be OK.

I'm digging the progress you've made on the ride.
Shocks are designed to work from straight up to an angle of 10 - 15 degrees.
The only thing that happens with more angle is you lose travel and dampening force.
Angling the shock will also soften the ride, too much angle and the axle will not settle down soon enough after hitting a bump causing a washboard effect.

Thanks Old Iron. I got the exhaust under it finally. Now I have to squeeze rear shocks in. I really thought I'd have this thing on the road by now. Someday....

:p Pop, after I reread the post, what I meant by losing travel is, the shock won't travel as far under bump and rebound causing less dampening effect :D

i said it before and i'll say it again.
i just love this build.
everytime i go to pops house i commit a mortal sin.
thou shalt not covet thy neighbors ratrod.
am i gonna go to heck?

Thanks for the response Old Iron. After getting the exhaust done, my rear shocks con only fit in one spot. I think it will work out ok. I don't know that the whole air bag thing is worth the agrivation.

No backing out now though. Still have to address the air supply and control system.
