i decided when i got it home to go ahead and build a pickup by cutting the remainder of the quarters off and framing in the rear to make a cab.

started throwin sheet metal at it. reused original oval rear window including bullet holes in glass! cut the body line out of removed quarters and put them across the back. also remounted the doors...suicide!

after lookin over the plymouth chassis i decided there was just to much rot for me to feel safe patching and using. so found Mr. Pope at RPM (www.eztbucket.com) on here and gave him a call. he fixed me right up with a new chassis to my specs, front disc brake kit, mounts for my dual leaf chevy axle to make it a suicide front end, and some other misc. parts.

got a tranny a couple weeks ago and was able to get the cab in place. my dad was in town for thanksgiving and we knocked out the bed and cab mounts! came together pretty good. wasnt sure what i was going to do until we started working on it, but ive got to say it changed the overall look i thought i was heading towards.
