The owner of this build requested that it had blinkers. He happen to have an old school Universal blinker switch. With the power of the interwebs I was able to find a wiring diagram for it. Got it all set up on the bench made sure it worked oh, and proceeded to build a bracket over my steering column to hold it. Probably Overkill but it looks good

In the "diagrams" post in the tech tips forum there should be several diagrams for different turn signal set-ups if you have a problem. Also several concerning using just a two way toggle switch.

Thanks!!

Okay- you've got reflectors which mine (with 9" lenses) don't have. Have you ever done the big buckets with no reflectors? Differences? Conversation with a friend yesterday rolled around to wondering if placement in the bucket (or even size of the bulb) was critical to how it might throw the light. [S

My original thinking was simply fabing up a bracket, using bulbs from a '96 Chevy donor truck, and attaching with some JB weld. Appreciate your input cuzz this will be a first time for me.

What do you mean, no reflectors? Just having the light in the headlight bucket? That won't work. You need the reflector to direct the light forward.

Yeah, you will need something to reflect and help project the light out of the housing. Im concerned about these cause they arent a mirrored finish anymore. We will see!

I'll post a pic with an idea this evening under "Wiring". Let me know what you think afterwards. Thanks!

It just dawned on me... would chrome spray paint bring back enough of the mirror finish to help out? [S

That won`t help a lot. I vote for a roll bar with a bunch of poacher lights to back up the dummy chrome paint head lights, so everyone can see where you`re going :D

I can just put some led light bars on it!!
