Very Very Nice

First thing I've got to do is apologize
For some reason I kept missing your build thread [S
Second, MAN, your ride is great [cl [cl [cl
Glad you got to take it to the BBQ
I was wanting to see it at the NSRA show in Springfield over Memorial Day weekend. I was on the North fence about 150 ft East of the entrance :(
Again that's a great job [cl

Thanks.
One of our goals was the NSRA show, but we didn’t have the front end issues cleared up in time and ended up just working on it without going at all.

We (barring no unforeseen events) will have it at the 1st Annual Breast Cancer Wellness Summer Fun Car Show this Saturday.
It is at the Cowan Civic center here in Lebanon from 9am to 3pm.

should be a good show.

Whoa! This Dodge is SWEET! [dr

I just ran across this build thread. I have a 1930 Dodge Bros. 1-1/2 truck I'm building into an underslung roadster pickup. Funny, looking through your posts I saw a lot of little similarities I have for mine. Great minds think alike I guess. :) I'm still at the beginning stages though.

Great Job Man! Love it!

Just a couple updates:

My son drove it to work the other day, sure looks small next to that Mitsubishi

He added some graphics to the passenger side cowl.

I borrowed a sewing machine and made some seat cushions, nothing fancy, but certainly better than sitting on the steel frames.

Well, we gave up on getting the 36’ Chevy grill to work like we wanted. :(
It would look good from one view only, but never could get it to work completely.

Got another grill, also a Chevy, but this one is from the 20’s. We were able to get this one to work great. :D

Thanks.

We took him out last night to cruise around, nowhere to really go, just having some fun. :D

Then we decided to shoot a few pictures afterward, pretty much finished with him for now.

Hi Guys -
I'm glade that grill worked out for you. I think it looks great.
I hope you got your trans shiffting problems resolved.
Whats your next project?

Bring your car by sometime. I'd love to take a ride in it.

Thanks Jim, we’re very happy with how this grill worked out.

Still working on getting the shifting consistent, it works, just not the same every time. [S

Next project is started, just taking the old 68’ Chevy C10 that’s been sitting idle in my driveway for the last four years and getting it going again. We put a carb on it and a new battery, it fired right up and we drove it over to my son’s house. We’ll mostly be doing minor work to get it ready to sell.

We’ll try to get the Dodge over to you sometime soon.
