When you customize a vehicle you show off your bodywork skills, but you also show off your vision of the whole car. This guy had the mechanical skills but his overall vision and mine don't coincide.
He has got a nice slant to the car, though, and he started with a very nice looking vehicle.
In regards to it being a Barris car. I agree that not everything that came out of their shop was a Beauty, but I can't recall them ever using the 59 Caddy tail lights like that. I suspect that this is a later build by some one that knows the value that could be attached to it by mentioning the Barris shop name.
And yes Mac. It's overall vision leaves much to be desired.

If there wasn't ligit contact info, I would suspect the ad is a scam, due to the horrible writing skills.
Other than that, it is not, in my not so humble opinion, a custom that needed to be made.

The thing about a '39 Ford pick-up is that that ugly grille kinda' grows on ya' after a while.

Not taking anything too seriously.

I was watching a You Tube video by 37spiker last night. It was a swap meet in Zephyrhills, FL. That Ford was in the car corral.

37Spiker...it must be nice to travel all over the country making these vids, I briefly appear in one of his at Strawberry 2019

I know there was/is a 4 day show and swap meet up there in Zhill, with entry fees. Today its only 5 bucks, a friend of mine alerted me to a couple of 53 chev grills and parts up there, I might go take a peek.
