I just meant a Mopar engine in a Mopar body. Most people at a car show wont spot the s10 chassis with the hood up, they'll just see the slant six.

I used the S10 donor cause I had it. Got the engine set in place. Will trim the firewall a bit and get the cab back on the chassis soon.

My brother had a 39 Dodge Pickup on an S-10 with a 455 Buick. You wouldn't believe how many people had no idea it was a GM engine. I'm generally of the opinion that brand loyalty in powertrain choice in someone else's car is pointless.

I wasn't at all criticizing, using what you have is the foundation of hot rodding! I'm a big proponent of S-10 suspension swaps as well.

No pix but a niebhore was putting a chevy Bolt electric drve train in a S10, hooked up a batt change and burned house down:(

engine looks perfect in there, and it will run for a hundred years at least!

this is happening a lot lately, I have seen two other fires related to electric vehicle chargers in the past month.

Trimmed the cab firewall and floor and the cab is back on the chassis. The Slant 6 intrudes some but won't be in the way. Pulled the column from the donor. Will cut out the donor fire wall section and pedal assembly next. Thanks Joe for showing the way. Temp motor mounts for now until stuff lines up.
