14"s are hard to find in stock, most of the time you have to order them. My go to is www.discounttiredirect.com . They have a good selection of most everything.

One place you don't want to skimp is on tires, Phil. I know buying them is a financial hit sometimes, but your life is riding on those tires. The good part is, on a hot rod, tires tend to last for a long time, so you will spread that cost out over years of use.
One thing that jumped out at me is that you want to run 8 inch wheels, and I think you said on the front. That is a little wide IMO, ,more suited to rear wheels. You can pick up slots cheap at swap meets and wheel places all the time, and I would consider maybe something in the 6 inch width for the front. I've always dealt with Coker Tire, they have a terrific selection of older style tires. |
