I know lots of people use an S-10 chassis or a ricer chassis. But I would rather keep my project all Mopar and was thinking a Dodge Dakota Chassis might work out.

Anyone here use a Dakota chassis?

My project is a 46 Dodge p/u

The only thing I didn't like about my Dakota was the 6 lug wheels, made it kinda hard to use the style of wheels I like. Other than that I agree with Bonehead and Gastrick

Dakota Chassis

I used a '93 Dakota chassis, EFI engine, auto O/D trans, wiring harness, instrument cluster, 4 wheel anti locks and rear end when I built my '38 Plymouth. I had to set the engine & trans back 12". I raised the rear spring hangers and installed air suspension. I used Intro wheels. The car has got 2 Goodguys picks.
