A Few Detroit Auto-Rama Pictures

Just took a few pictures this time around, a lot of nice iron, some of it is to nice and perfect. Looks like jewellery$$$$ None the less, a lot of guys there with their pride and joy on display. Just about every type and style you can imagine. It was good show, felt like I walked a 100 miles, but the scenery was nice. Sniper

Hi, I'm new to this site and this is the first post since my introduction a few minutes ago. Great pictures and raises a question I have regarding the legalities of the rat rod, particularly the lack of fenders, is it legal to drive the roads of Ontario without fenders or is it an invitation for harrassment from the boys that drive the black and whites.

Here's what the Ontario Highway Saftey Act says, this is a direct copy from the act. But even this leaves a gray area, what about when it's not raining? For the most part, if your not throwing 20 ft. roostertails, slinging mud, and putting out windsheilds with stones from the tread grooves, most law enforcers will leave you alone. May have to have fenders for a safety check, but that will depend on the inspecting mechanic. I have passed a few without, but made sure the owner understood the passage and wording of the Act. You want run in the rain without fenders, that up to you...and some snarly cop. I would have a copy with me for the nice days if stopped, just to point out I really don't need a ticket. Sniper

hey thanks guys for all the props. it was great to finally meet some of the R.R.R. guys. the detroit autorama this year was awesome, they announced over the p.a. that there was over 170 cars entered in the basement this year.

heres a few more pics of our members cars and some more from upstairs/ downstairs too.

i even thru in a few famous people here and there, and got my dash signed also.

Great show, I recognized a few cars from RRR.

Had a GREAT time, made some new friends, saw some old friends, helped raise a stack of cash for Leader Dogs.

heres is the display from SINGLE FINGER SPEEDSHOP these guys were great, had a blast all weekend with them kept the crowds going with their resident pinstripper john excellent work, and the H.**B. meet n greet, i couldnt have asked for a better spot for the orange crush'd to be displayed. dp1

George Im hopeful that Ill get mine going so I can have it there next year. Thats awesome that you got Chip Foose to sign your dash. I did see the other guys from the Overhaulin crew there but I didnt see Foose.
